San Francisco's overhyped tourist attraction--the intersection of Lombard and Leavenworth Streets on Russian Hill in San Francisco's North Beach District.This is the same area where the film BUELLITT, starring Steve McQueen was partially filmed in 1968.

  
Although the intersection of Lombard and Leavenworth is "crooked"--just as several San Francisco and California politicians and media are--this tourist hype featuring the Lombard and Leavenworth intersection is misleading in travel guides from Brazil through Harvard's to San Francisco's tourist information.
  
The real "crookedest street" in San Francisco is located miles away in the southern hills above San Francisco General Hospital--the site of the city's Morgue.

The Morgue at San Francisco General Hospital--a few blocks from Vermont Street.In this neighborhood,Juan Pifarre, the Argentine sexual predator, lived,lured, and preyed upon youth---particularily young military recruits:Steven Nary US Navy sailor and died here. Pifarre's corpse was brought to the morgue here at San Francisco General Hospital.

Mora was accused of "hate crime" in a drunken confrontation with a homosexual from Sacramento California.Mr. Wilmes came down from Sacramento to party at one of San Francisco's sado masochist sex clubs. Wilmes is also creditably suspected of having AIDS dementia. Both Wilmes and Pifarre's HIV/AIDS/ VD/ Hepititis status is still concealed by San Francisco's district attorney's employees and the morgue.
