ASSOCIATE US SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR TO HER FELLOW JUSTICES:
"Make Nice with Congress"
At the summer intellectual sojourn that the ninth federal circuit judges gather at every year, Associate US Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor suggested to the troubled and increasingly controversial judges: " Try to make a friend out of the members of Congress. Try to help them understand the needs of judges…"

But O'Connor doesn't recognize that the nation and some perceptive members of congress are losing respect for the federal courts because these federal judges, their staff attorneys and law clerks fail or refuse to follow black letter law, such as title 32 Code of Federal Regulations and the Universal Code of Military Justice that was legislated by Congress.

Perceptive Congressmen and women are also losing respect for federal courts, which are increasingly politically and sexually correct in these sexual preference cases---Don't Ask Don't Wanta Tell,Homosexual Predator and homosexual/lesbian special rights, privileges and exemptions agendas.

When O'Connor's husband was stationed in West Germany during the Cold War, he was an Army Judge Advocate lawyer. Why she ignores the violations of black letter military law as well as the long-standing rulings of the very US Supreme Court that she is a member of remains a Star Chamber mystery.
