A San Francisco Homosexual -Lesbian Marriage Prop 8  Advocate
Offers Free, or Discounted, Drinks to Voters?

Place Pigalle--

Throughout American History, Eastern Political Machines,  such as Tammany (New York City), Green (Philadelphia), Curley (Boston), Kelly-Daly (Chicago), and Prendergast (Kansas City) were castigated for allegedly buying votes with alcoholic drinks.

Recently, this sign (at left) was seen on the street at a controversial San Francisco bar/tavern: "$1 off  your first beer if you voted."

Concurrently, this political preference sign (below) was also posted in the window of the same bar, the Place Pigalle:

PROP 8 (Proposition 8) is the overturning by the California electorate of the California State Supreme Court's pro-homosexual-lesbian-nambla judicial activistism special rights, privileges and exemptions.

Political and judicial cognoscente have become aware of the growing and unpublicized  infiltration by homosexual/lesbian legal workers (i.e., court clerks, staff attorneys, legal researchers) who are sexual preference or "crotch politics" activists.

Place Pigalle is also infamous because of the unsolved murder of Hugues de la Plaza, a French born man, who was drinking there June 2, 2007 -- shortly before his death.   Outrage at his murder has become an international cause celebre. There were vigils and demonstrations at his apartment building. The San Francisco Police have not yet solved this case.

Place Pigalle is also a bar with alleged illegal drug activity. When an "immigrant" from the east coast saw the "discount for vote" sign, he commented, "I thought that the political machines back East bought votes. You would think that they'd avoid controversy after their connection  to the  Hugues del la Plaza murder."

Among the theories surrounding the murder case is that Hugues may have met someone there when he was drunk.  The killer may have taken advantage of Hugues perhaps having had a drink too many, followed him home, and then brutally murdered him.
