Juan Pifarre's Remote Residence in San Francisco
 
 

This is the intersection of Carolina and 21st Street in San Francisco's Potrero Hill District. There are no public phones. Nor is there bus service or taxi cruising to this remote hilly area where 53 year-old Juan Pifarre lured and attacked a young, 18 year-old, Navy sailor with promises of girls and partying.
